Nowhere has a no nonsense approach to partying like Nowhere.  The atmosphere is built around the quality music spun by the residents - a group of likeminded chums who really wanna get you dancing.  Without the fuss of headliners, you always know what you’re going to get from the residents, and you always know the crowd will be making the most of it: no chin strokers here, thanks.

Nowhere instead plugs the vast gap between the dead dirty underground and the squeaky clean overground and, the club fresh from a whopping refurb, will wow and amaze you as we have splashed out on a whole new look, improved seating and smarter decor: The cool new mood lighting, chic seating booths and straight, polished edges of the club now make for a plush and comfortable setting for plenty of chats and just as much dancing.  All in all, it means the renamed A51 club is now a bright and shining light on Manchester’s trendy club circuit.

The ambitions are not limited to only the music policy, though, with a focus on videos and imagery also in the minds of the Nowhere gang.  The aim is also to culture a loveable mix of trashy, sexy and cool people, with all wannabies and scumbags left firmly at the door, so come on down and take your place in amongst it at the newly refitted and rebranded A51 - you’ll fit right in.

If it all gets a bit too much on the night, slope off to The Bar, where groovier, nu-disco beats will percolate for your listening pleasure.  As well as that, the Nowhere DJs will also be on hand to back up the artists booked to play each week and, if you fancy pampering yourself, booths with bottle service are available on request.

So, if you’re looking for a credible night out that doesn’t take itself too seriously, it’s time you went NOWHERE.

Fridays

Fridays at Area 51 are going to be the only option for house lovers, electro revellers and all who like things a touch more uplifting, as HOUSEPARTY takes over the club from Fri 20th March, Watch this space for some great Friday line ups coming your way.
Monthly residents, KissdaFunk, 1st Friday of each month are famed throughout the dance scene for the their party atmosphere and high calibre resident DJs such as co-founder Rob Tissera, as well as a host of guests picked from the top of the house music tree.  

Saturdays

With a whole new direction for Saturdays, expect future weekends to be filled with world class, jaw dropping music covering everything current in progressive, underground, tech edged house.

With a relentless line up of week after week of huge underground artists like the indisputably amazing M.A.N.D.Y, a duo that have taken the world by storm with their electro and tech edged house and founded one the coolest labels around, ‘Get Physical’ and English born, Panorama Bar Berlin resident Jesse Rose, who not only produces track after track of tech-house gold but travels the world’s biggest and best venues leaving clubbers opened mouthed and sweating in the aftermath. With ground breaking electronic artist, Steve Lawler also lined up to hit the decks at Area 51, fresh from a global takeover that has not only seen him release on every one of the coolest labels around but also become one of the Ibiza major figures after residencies at both Cream and the legendary Space, you can rest assured that Saturdays need never be filled in with lank, bland and backward music again. Prepare for a pioneering and unique progression on the future of the Northern club scene.

After an amazing opening year that has seen the Manchester club make a name for itself as one of the most unique and exciting new venues in the North, Area 51 are powering through into 2009 with a whole new mindset.

This year will see the club branch out to become altogether more diverse, with nights lined up to cross boundaries in every genre. With future bookings including a selection of underground music’s finest, such as M.A.N.D.Y, Jesse Rose and Steve Lawler, alongside house music’s front running promotions, such as KissdaFunk, as well as a host of artists covering the entire spectrum of the dance scene, this will be the only place in Manchester to hear forward thinking music that not only provides the back drop to a blinding night out, but educates and diversifies your musical palette. A new beginning for the venue that holds a true passion for quality clubbing and leaves all others firmly in their wake.
